Think Ahead

We have renamed our general College support fund 'Think Ahead', highlighting the importance of your gift as an investment for the future of Trinity Hall and our students.  A donation to this fund means that your gift will go where the need is the greatest in our College. 

Why are donations necessary?

Unrestricted donations are essential to Trinity Hall.  The College faces a shortfall in income to cover academic basics. For every undergraduate student we accept, we invest nearly £11,000 out of College resources on top of the academic fee, to subsidise the cost of their education. 

Donations given during Giving Day will not be used to cover the Educational Deficit, as the College is supporting this deficit through funds generated by the endowment. However, with this pressure on the College, we rely on donations towards our Think Ahead fund to allow the College to plan other vital initiatives including, student support, enhancing our resources and facilities, and running our Widening Participation programmes.  All of which makes Trinity Hall the College of choice for so many.  

Your donation makes a difference

Without the extremely generous funding, I would have not been able to come to Cambridge. It is as simple as that.
